REDCap's e-signature functionality not approved for use at UCSF 05/17/2016 - 5:54pm

Attention REDCap Users! 

REDCap's native e-signature feature is not authorized for use at UCSF since it currently does not meet the University's legal requirements for e-signature functionality.

Docusign is the recommended solution for e-signature functionality at UCSF.

De-Identified Research Data Browser Export and Flowsheet Flat Files Now Available 11/06/2015 - 12:00am

To Our Research Data Browser Users –

The Academic Research Systems Team is pleased to announce the availability of de-identified Research Data Browser export and flowsheet flat files for your use in your research studies. The set of Research Data Browser export files contains a complete export of the data set displayed in the Research Data Browser, while the flowsheet flat files contain a copy of the de-identified APeX flowsheet data set. These flat files will be refreshed on a monthly basis. Click here to find out more.

Cohort Selection Tool Successfully Converted to MyAccess Authentication 08/21/2015 - 4:57pm

The Cohort Selection Tool has been successfully converted to MyAccess authentication, which enables you to login to the tool with your MyAccess account.

If you access the Cohort Selection Tool from MyResearch, please note that you will be prompted for your MyAccess credentials when you click on the Cohort Selection Tool icon in MyResearch.

If you are accessing the Cohort Selection Tool through MyAccess from an Internet Explorer browser, please ensure that you are using Internet Explorer version 11 and above. We have not noted any version dependencies with other browser, such as Firefox and Chrome.

We hope that this change makes accessing the tool more convenient for you. Please contact us at with any questions about the Cohort Selection Tool.

UC ReX and Cohort Selection Tool log in issues 07/28/2015 - 7:54pm

Some UC ReX and Cohort Selection Tool users may experience issues when attempting to launch the tools directly from their URL. We are working to resolve this issue quickly. In the meantime, both tools can be successfully accessed from the MyResearch environment.

CST and UC ReX Data Explorer need to be launched from either MyAccess or MyResearch 07/15/2015 - 4:31pm

To establish a successful connection to the Cohort Selection Tool and UC ReX Data Explorer, please launch the tools from either MyAccess or MyResearch. Accessing the tools directly via the URLs for the tools from your local browser is not functional at this time.


Cohort Selection Tool and MyAccess Authentication 05/29/2015 - 6:18pm

Please continue to login to the Cohort Selection Tool with your Active Directory username and password. We were unable to convert the Cohort Selection Tool to MyAccess authentication last night due to an incompatibility with the version of Internet Explorer that currently runs in MyResearch. We anticipate that the tool will be converted to MyAccess authentication in the next several weeks and we will send a notice once this is ready.


REDCap RESTORED 05/12/2015 - 11:43pm
